Personal information collected through submission, review, payment, contact, registration, or website systems should be limited to data reasonably required to operate the journal and meet legal, scholarly, and administrative obligations.
Author and reviewer data must be protected against unauthorized access and should not be sold to third parties. Reviewer identities must remain confidential under the journal’s double-blind review model except where disclosure is legally required or the individual has explicitly agreed.
The journal should publish a separate website cookie/privacy notice if analytics, payment gateways, mailing tools, embedded services, or other third-party technologies collect additional user data.
